Bananas and Sweet Potatoes

Last month Mikey seemed to have an allergic reaction to bananas, of all things. Two different times (about two weeks apart) when he ate banana he threw up a lot afterwards. Needless to say, Mikey has not been eating bananas since then. And it's a shame because they're so easy to prepare. (Mikey eats a lot of homemade baby food.) A few nights ago Mikey woke up about an hour and a half after going to bed, and when Mike went to check on him, he found the bed very wet and Mikey's hair smelling very bad, like throw-up. As we were cleaning up Mikey and his bed, and I was holding him, he threw up all over me. (Mama always gets it!) So we changed, and then I nursed him to calm him down and get some fluid back into him. At the end of nursing, poor little Mikey paused for a second and then threw up all over me again. So we just gave him a little water and finally he went to sleep. And what had he eaten that caused all this trouble? Sweet potatoes, of all things!
