Seen and Heard

Seen:

The whole Towle family having a dance party!

Mikey doing an Irish step dance to the opening song of the Signing Time videos.

James rolling over from his tummy to his back.

Mikey and his friend Elizabeth (who lives next door) scampering around the complex parking lot (they are so cute together).

Mike putting the train set back together every evening after Mikey has taken it apart and placed the train cars all over the apartment.

James smiling at his brother and graciously allowing him to put the pacifier back in his mouth.

Heard:

"Is that my baby or your baby?" --Mike in the middle of the night, upon hearing Mikey crying over the baby monitor. (Mike has assumed responsibility for Mikey at night while Kristin is, obviously, in charge of caring for James.)

"Come on, you little wimp!" --Auntie Jenny encouraging her baby son Sean to do a strengthening trick.

"Cool!"--Mikey copying Mama and Papa and practicing his "K" sound.

"Good job, James! You went potty in the potty like a big boy!"--Kristin, just about every time that James goes potty in his little Baby Bjorn potty. (And her happy tone and smiling face are not an act: she is really excited every time he goes. Who knew that seeing your baby go potty in the right place could give you such a sense of accomplishment?)

"Mama, no. Papa, no. Mama no. Ma-pa, no. Yah! (Smile and clap, clap, clap.)"--Mikey, as he is walking around the living room and kitchen. (We are not quite sure what this little mantra means, but it is adorable!)
